  India, as a country, offers diversity in its unity not only in the matter of tribes, communities, religions, ways of life but also in the form of historical sites, geographical diversities, climatic differences and many more. India offers a great scope for tourism. It has a vast variety and a great potential for tourist attraction. The Tourism Ministry has launched various schemes to promote tourism in the country because India is famous for its diverse topology, cultures, religions, customs, natural wonders, historical buildings and above all destination for spiritual upliftment. Scholars visit here to enrich their knowledge of arts, religion, philosophy, spiritually and history of India. Thus, India is a paradise for the tourists as it  is the abode of gods, the land of all seasons and various festivals.

Day in and day out they may be seen on the roads, the lanes and the bylanes of a city or town looking for cast-off clothes or something else showy or shoddy that may sell.
